Third-party contractors will be removing four totems located along the towpath between the A38 Aqueduct in Selly Oak and Bridge 86, Islington Row.
The towpath will remain open throughout the works. To ensure the safety of all users, work will be paused as needed to allow safe passage. Signage will be in place along the route to keep towpath and canal users informed, and banksmen will be on-site to help manage foot traffic safely.
The canal navigation will remain open as usual during this time.
