Further to our earlier notice regarding the partially submerged vessel on the River Trent, we can confirm that police are still on site monitoring the situation. The location of the incident now appears to be on the river bend between the villages of Owston Ferry and Susworth. The vessel remains partially submerged, with the cabin roof still visible above the waterline. We continue to advise all boaters to exercise extreme caution when navigating this section of the river until the vessel is fully assessed and removed. We will provide further updates as new information becomes available. Thank you for your continued cooperation

We have been informed by the police of a partially submerged vessel located on the River Trent, in the vicinity of the village of Susworth. The boat is reported to be sunken with the cabin roof visible above the waterline. Until the exact position of the vessel is confirmed and it is safely recovered, we strongly advise all boaters to navigate this section of the river with extreme caution. Further updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available. Thank you for your cooperation.
