Our team have managed to separate the broken sluice from the good sluice which means this lock can now be re-opened. It will need to be operated using only one sluice, until the other has been repaired.

Lock 19 at Todmorden is closed as the rod which operates the rear paddles has been bent. The team has been on site this morning and will be working to repair the mechanism as soon as possible.
This notice will be updated as soon as the repair is complete.
