Please be advised that a tree has fallen across the River Severn Navigation between Bridge 7 (Westgate South) and Bridge 9 (Westgate Bridge North).
Contractors will be attending site to clear the tree as soon as possible.
Navigation is possible for narrow beam boats however we have reports indicating that wide beams cannot navigate past the tree.
The navigation remains open for smaller craft but please pass with care.
