Contractors on behalf of the Trust will be undertaking a small excavation with light machinery next to the towpath. A new inspection chamber and flow meter are being installed to aid in water management.
The towpath will remain open, but users may be asked to wait a short period whist the contractors ensure the area is safe to traverse.
