A running event, organised by Stone Master Marathoners, is planned for Sunday 1 June on the Trent \& Mersey Canal. The event will use a section of towpath between Aston Lock, 26, and Star Lock, 27.
Around 250 people are expected to take part and they will be on the towpath between 9.30am and 11am.
