Please be advised third-party contractors will be working on a development close to the canal between Rodney Street Footbridge and Red Hill Street Bridge 88 on the Rochdale Canal which may result in a crane oversailing the canal from 9 July 2024 until 8 August 2025. No loads will be lifted over the canal.
Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors on site.
