Please be advised that dredging will be carried out on the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal between Llanthony Bridge and the dry docks.
The works are due to commence on Wednesday 30th April 2025.
The dredgings will be transported down the canal to Parkend, where there will be an unloading point approximately 500m north of Parkend Bridge.
The canal and towpath will remain open, but please pass through the working areas with care and follow the advice of the dredging crew.
