The charity making life better by water

Visit the Manchester & Pennine Waters Forum

Can Manchester become the capital of the north's waterways? What's the future for the region's canals and rivers?

This year's Manchester & Pennine Waters Forum offers something for everyone with an interest in our waterways, their sustainable future and the vital role of our canals and rivers in the community.

Guests in the day will include canal laureate Jo Bell and Richard Parry of the Canal & River Trust.

The Forum will be held at the Mechanics Institute, Manchester with registration from 9am to 9.30am. The day will culminate with lunch at 1.15pm followed by an optional guided visit to the Rochdale Canal through the city centre.

Places are strictly limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
