The festival will take place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September 2016 on the Leigh Branch of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
The committee will work with us to host the family friendly event which last year attracted hundreds people ranging from toddlers to seasoned canal enthusiasts.

Festival Committee positions include; Chair, Secretary, Treasurer/fundraiser, and others with an interest in the media, boating, health and safety, engagement with the community/young people, and in organising activities.
Waterway manager Chantelle Seaborn, said: “Leigh Canal Festival was a great success last year and hundreds of people came along to enjoy live music, canoeing, boat trips and a beer festival at the historic Waterside Inn. We're looking for members to join the Committee to put on an even better event for 2016.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for people of all experiences with ideas and energy to play a leading role in creating a fantastic event for their local community on their local canal.”
Bring the community together
Applications are welcome from anybody with an interest in the waterways and a desire to bring together the whole community.
