Leeds & Liverpool Canal Bicentenary - epic voyage ends in Liverpool

The Trust and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal Society completed their epic 127 mile journey along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal on Sunday afternoon (yesterday) at Liverpool’s Eldonian Village to celebrate the canal’s 200th birthday.

Kennet arrives in Liverpool

Crowds of well-wishers and and the Liverpool Clan Wallace Pipe band gathered at the Eldonian Village to welcome them at the end of their voyage.
