You don't need to run a marathon, or paddle from one end of the country to the other to feel a boost of endorphins. A gentle stroll or a leisurely-paced pedal on your bike is enough to give your mood a boost.
As a bonus, physical exercise encourages a healthy heart, healthy eating and better sleep.
3. Take notice
Take a moment to wake up your senses by slowing down and taking a deep breath. Mindfulness is a great way to relax the body and improve your mood.
