The event application form is designed for all kinds of events. If a section or question is not relevant please mark as ’not applicable’. It is important that you answer the questions fully.
Once your application has been submitted, no additional items may be included without the consent of the Canal & River Trust. The completed application form should be sent electronically to the local waterway contact for the area in which the event is planned along with a map highlighting the proposed section of canal the event will be held on. Receipt of your application will be acknowledged.
Once your application has been received and agreed in principle a risk assessment and copy of your public liability insurance certificate will be requested. If your application is refused we will let you know why.
