The charity making life better by water

Co-designing the Southall Wellbeing Way

The improvements we are making at each location have been discussed and co-designed with local stakeholders and residents.

This has been done through online surveys, face-to-face and online meetings, co-design workshops and community activities.

Willowbrook Road access improvements

We are improving the access to the canal towpath from the southern end of Willowbrook Road via the footpath.

We are proposing to create a new sloped access ramp, with a gradient of 1 in 12 (or 8.3%) and a landing where the ramp turns through a right angle to connect with the towpath level. It will have a crushed stone surface and a handrail. What do you think of our design and do you have any comments?

You can see the proposed design here.

If you have any comments on the proposal, please let the project team know by 12 February by sending an email with the title “Southall Wellbeing Way/Willowbrook” to: [email protected] or see our Contact Us page.

You can also get in touch with your feedback and if you'd like to receive more information about getting involved, please send an email with the title Southall Wellbeing Way to [email protected]
