As part of our Heritage Open Days, we will be at the Shardlow Inland Port Festival.
We hope to be offering heritage talks on the Saturday and kids activities on the Sunday to include Roses & Castles painting, possible knot tying and water safety awareness.
This is a community based festival to celebrate the heritage of the Inland Waterways Port of Shardlow, bring boat traders in to display and sell goods and showcase the village to the general public. Trading boats to arrive a couple of days prior to the festival.
