Saltersford Large Lock - Weaver Navigation

The works to repair the damage to Saltersford Lock on the Weaver Navigation following the recent flood has been successful, however navigation remains closed due to the ongoing planned winter works. You can see more about these works here:

Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Saltersford Large Lock on the Weaver Navigation.

Due to flood damage to the Electrical and Mechanical plant equipment, the lock cannot be operated.

Our local engineers and third-party contractors will be attending, to repair the effected equipment.
