Please be advised that the stoppage for Lock 71 Kings Langley has been changed from Monday 14 September at 6pm and brought forward to Saturday 12 September at 12 noon where navigation will be re-opened to all boat traffic.

Please be advised that Kings Langley, Lock 71 is open for narrowboat assisted passage on Bank Holiday Monday (31 August) from 10 am - 11 am and from 2 pm - 3 pm. Also, on Saturday the 5th of September and Sunday the 6th of September, the lock will be open from 10 am - 2 pm.

Description

Navigation will be closed to both narrow and wide-beams from 6:00am Monday 7 September until 18:00pm Monday 14 September as Lock 71 Kings Langley as the Lock will be emptied (de-watered) whilst gate replacement works are carried out.

Pleases note that the last staff assisted passage for narrow beam craft only before this navigation closure will be on Friday 4 September
