Updates

Our construction team is on site at Lock 32 but continuing high water levels have severely hampered work this week.

As a result, we require a further week to complete all the repairs safely but will do all we can to re-open the navigation on Thursday 11th February.

12/01/2021 18:16

Unfortunately, one of our construction team working on the stoppage at Lock 32 has tested positive for Covid-19. This means all those involved in the work on site are now isolating and the navigation will remain open until they can return to work on 18th January.

We will do everything we possibly can to complete the gate replacements and repairs by 5th February, as originally planned, but will update this notice again should the situation change.

Thank you for your patience.
