Description
A stoppage is required to carry out repairs at Wigan Flight including:
Lock 66 (2) - Tail gate repairs, lock ladder improvements and pointing of chamber brickwork.
Lock 69 (5) - head and tail gate repairs and lock ladder improvements.
Lock 71 (7) - Installation of new tail gates.
Lock 72 (8) - Contractors working for the Trust will carry out grouting work to reduce leakage through the lock chamber walls.
Lock 78 (14) - Repairs to the top end mitre and cill.
Lock 82 (18) - Repairs to the top and bottom end mitres and cills, including work to re-board the gates.
