Lock 10 East, Spring Garden, Milnsbridge, Huddersfield

Unfortunately we are still encountering issues with leakage at Lock 10 East, in spite of the repairs carried out to date. 

As the navigation will also be closed at Lock 22 East from 1st December until 18th December 2020, we have decided to use this closed period to allow our contractors to continue work at Lock 10E until the issues are resolved. 

The stoppage has therefore been extended until 18th December 2020.

A stoppage is required to carry out polyurethene grouting works to the lock chamber to prevent leakage and structural deterioration.
