Updates

15/03/2021 16:00

We are pleased to confirm the bridge installation at Lock 1 has been completed ahead of schedule and the navigation will be fully re-opened by 12 noon on Wednesday 17th March.

01/02/2021 11:05

Unfortunately, due to delays caused by flooding at Deepdale Bridge 17, Trent & Mersey Canal, our construction team will be unable to start work at Lock 1, Derwent Mouth Lock, until two weeks after the original planned date.

This means the navigation will now be closed from 1st March 2021 until 19th March 2021 to carry out the bridge installation works.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this change of dates.
