Please note the navigation will be closed at Lock 1 and Lock 16 for the duration of the gate replacement works at Lock 15.

Unfortunately, our programme has been affected due to some of our construction team having to self-isolate. As a result, we will not be able to complete all the pre-Christmas preparation for the stoppage at Lock 15, including moving plant and equipment to site.
We therefore need to delay the navigation closure by one week. This will now start on 18th January 2021 and re-open on 12th February 2021.
Description
A stoppage is required to enable the replacement of the top gate.
