Horseley Fields Junction to New Cross Pedestrian Bridge

The towpath surface between Horseley Fields Junction and New Cross Pedestrian Bridge is being improved following external funding becoming available. The works will involve a new macadam layer with a tar spray & chip surface dressing which will improve its durability for many years to come. Waterway wall repairs will also be carried out at the same time to improve the overall condition.

To allow the safe operation of plant and equipment, parts of the towpath may be restricted or closed intermittently at times, and in these instances diversionary signage will be posted at the nearest access points. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these temporary disruptions.
