Utter bliss...Tucked away in the heart of the beautiful village of Stoke Bruerne on the Grand Union Canal is one of our treasured secrets, The Canal Museum. It’s full of little surprises – not least the towpath to the Blisworth Tunnel.
Together they make for one of our more idyllic places to visit. Peaceful, charming and steeped in our very richest of waterway heritage. Originally set up in the 1960s, The Canal Museum was the first home for our designated collection of memorabilia, films, displays and objects. Today, our free audio guide will take you on a journey through the stories and traditions of Britain's historic canals.
