Whether you’re a seasoned boater or new to canal boating and would like to experience a boating holiday, we'd like to offer you the opportunity to get afloat at an affordable price and experience the joys of the UK Canal Network on our unique, privately owned boat.

With Maddison located in Staffordshire on the Staffs and Worcester canal, you have access to some wonderful canal routes in beautiful countryside or experience the industrial heritage of our canal network. Perfect for a peaceful and enjoyable canal boat adventure with family and friends.

Maddison is fully equipped with everything you need while you cruise and explore the network, crammed with history, nature and national heritage. She's your home-from-home afloat, giving you a comfortable and relaxing canal cruise. She is our family owned narrowboat and is built to our own specifications. Our aim is to provide affordable UK boat hire to people who want to experience the canal system, whether it's your first time afloat or a seasoned boater. Maddison is fitted out to comfortably accommodate up to eight people who will enjoy a spacious boat without everyone being crammed into one single living area. Maddison holds a Commercial Boat Licence, Commercial Insurance. She has a valid Boat Safety Scheme Certificate and has Gold Membership with River Canal Rescue (RAC of the canals) For inexperienced boaters, we always provide friendly and personal tuition at the start of your holiday. Disability Access Information

Moored at Otherton Boat Haven on the Staffs & Worcester Canal. The marina has vehicle access and locked gated parking with CCTV. Access aboard Maddison for loading and unloading is from the Service Area hard standing, where fuel, water and toilet pump out is available. Entry into the boat is via narrow front or rear doors and down steps to the boat interior. Unfortunately this is not suitable for wheelchair users or persons who have limited unassisted mobility.
