Spirit of Endeavour (Yorkshire) CIO
We are a volunteer run charity which operates the Endeavour formally known as the SCAD boat in Skipton.
We provide trips for groups of people of all ages, our boat can fully cater for people in wheelchairs and those people who have difficulty walking.
Endeavour is crewed by our Volunteers, all trained to deliver an enjoyable and safe canal boat experience. Our aim is to provide a pleasurable experience for our passengers which takes them out of their normal environment.
We also provide volunteering opportunities for people to help run both the trips and the boat.

We pick up passengers from a custom ramp at the rear of the Skipton Hospital. This allows full access to passengers with only a short walk down to the canal. Once onboard there is a wheelchair capable lift to gain entry to the main Cabin.
