Paddlesports Hire
We run paddleboard, kayak and canoe hire at weekends and occasionally midweek from Hollingwood Hub from May to September.
We have 5 stand up paddleboards, 2 sit on single kayaks, 1 sit on double kayak, 1 Canadian sit in canoe (for up to 3 adults).
Conditions of Hire: Hire will be dependent on weather and water conditions. Hire will be dependent on a risk assessment of the hirer(s) and any medical conditions. Please bring photographic ID. This will be photographed for security purposes. The minimum age is 6. There must be at least one adult in the group. Please bring a mobile phone to use in case of emergency. We will supply a waterproof bag (used at your risk). We will supply a map and emergency contact number. We have a changing cubicle. We do not supply wet suits, so a change of clothing is advisable. You must wear a buoyancy aid, which we provide. Helmets are available, if requested. You will be given a safety briefing and help with launching your craft.
