Tiller Girl Canal Holidays
Luxury narrow boat for self drive holidays and short breaks on the Trent and Mersey canal, River Trent and River Soar. Tiller Girl sleeps up to 4 people in king size bed in the cabin with double futon in the saloon. The well equipped galley has a full size fridge and gas cooker to feed hungry boaters although there are plenty of good eateries along the waterways. The saloon has a log burner, DVD player, blue tooth speaker, lots of games and reading. The full size shower room includes hand basin and flush toilet. Central heating and (very) hot water is integral and little extras such as BBQ and breakfast packs, afternoon teas can be included at cost for those special celebrations. We welcome your dogs on board too! Personalised instruction on Narrowboat helmsmanship and canal etiquette is provided on hand over to ensure safety on the water. There are also moored breaks available in the Marina throughout the year with beautiful waterside walks and lots of places to see along the way. Guests need a good level of mobility due to the compact nature of the boat and the access from the mooring to the boat and the steep and narrow galley stairs The boat is not suitably equipped for those people with a moderate to severe disability.
