Union Canal Carriers are a family run hire boat company celebrating 50 years in business. The fleet of 17 hire boats are built by us and are all individual as we believe our customers are. Our staff are all experienced boaters and take time to introduce 1st time customers to the canals, and with a 24 hour call out service you know you are in safe hands.
Based in Braunston Northamptonshire near the junction of the Oxford Canal and The Grand Union Canal has the advantage of been able to offer our customers a wide variety of routes from a leisurely cruise to an energetic holiday.
We have choice of narrowboats available for short breaks, week or longer holidays, sleeping from 2 people to 12. Ouzel II is our day boat that accommodates up to 12 people and is very popular as an introduction to boating.
