Hugh Henshall Tripboat

The Hugh Henshall is run by the Chesterfield Canal Trust and is crewed by fully qualified volunteers.

No ordinary vessel, it is fully accessible for the disabled, with an electro-hydraulic system to enable any user to steer the boat from anywhere within it, regardless of disability.

It runs walk-up trips on selected Sundays from May to September, starting at the Lock Keeper pub in Worksop.

It runs occasional special trips; see the website for details.

It runs Santa Specials in December.
