If you want to run the London Marathon for charity, we'd love to have you join our team. Places are limited, so sign up today to support our work. We ask you to fundraise at least £2,000 to go towards making life better by water for everyone – we’ll be here to support you each step of the way!

How we'll support you

However you choose to fundraise for us, we’ll support you with:

• our fundraising pack full of ideas, inspiration and resources to help you smash your fundraising goal
• our marathon training guide and fitness video, to help you prepare for your event and achieve your personal best
• a free technical running vest when you reach £100 of your fundraising target
• support via emails to make sure you're in the know with everything to help make your event and fundraising journey a success
• most importantly, we'll provide you with a reason to keep going. Run the London Marathon knowing that you're helping make sure our canals are here for future generations

From helping us fight plastic pollution to protecting the future of our historic 2,000-mile-long network, the money you raise will do so much for our canals and rivers, for the communities who enjoy them, and for the wildlife that depends on them.

£500 keeps canals vibrant

Your fundraising could pay to install a kingfisher nesting box or plant sixteen cherry and fruit trees, providing environments for and allowing wildlife across our network to flourish.

£1,000 keeps canals clean

The money you raise could fund 100 litter pickers to remove the 14 million pieces of plastic that get into our network each year, preserving the natural beauty of the waterways.

3,000 keeps canals alive

Your fundraising could help create 100 metres of canalside water vole habitats to provide much-needed shelter for this fascinating mammal, whose population has fallen by 95% since the 1970s.
