Please note that the Trust's open day will now be on 9th July 2016.
Description
As part of the Trusts summer stoppage programme the Smethwick flight will be closed to allow for gate replacement works and extensive repairs to Lock 1.
As part of this project we will also be incorporating an open weekend on the 16th and 17th July 2016.
During the closure an alternative route is via the Birmingham New Mainline Canal.
