The third-party contractors have finished replacing the windows but require additional time to complete the decoration work while the scaffolding remains in place. The canal and towpath will stay open as usual, with signage installed to alert towpath users.
The new end date will be 17/11/24
Third party contractors are replacing the windows of Symphony Court apartments. To facilitate these works, scaffolding will need to be installed on the southern towpath from Birmingham Arena to Sheepcote Street Bridge along the New Mainline Canal and on the western towpath from Birmingham Arena to Blue Bridge along the Oozells Street Loop.
The scaffolding will not restrict the width of the towpath, and the canal and towpath will remain open as usual. Signage will be installed to warn towpath users.
