We're pleased to advise the repair was successful and navigation is back open again.

Description

We're having to close navigation from 9am to 4pm tomorrow (25/07/24) at Junction Lock 17 for urgent repairs.

There has been some movement noted in one of the timber quoins at Lock 17, which we are concerned is going to fall off if we don't act soon. Our Reactive Response team will attend site tomorrow to re-fix the quoin. The timber will be taken off from the masonry quoin, the channel cleared, and the timber reinstated. If we're able to open navigation any earlier than 4pm, we'll update this notice.
