Navigation is open again.

We've been advised contractors will be attending at 8:30AM tomorrow to commence work to remove the boat. We're expecting to have navigation open again by the afternoon.

We'll update this notice as soon as we receive confirmation navigation is open again.

Navigation remains closed here as the boat still needs to be removed. There are signs of pollution that we're aware of and continuing to monitor.

We'll be in a position to provide a further update tomorrow morning (26/03/24).

Please be advised there is a sinking boat blocking navigation, stuck in Gregory's Mill, Lock 6 on the Worcester & Birmingham Canal.

River Canal Rescue are on their way. We'll provide an update as soon as we receive one.
