Repairs have been completed to the northern side of the pontoon on Dunham visitor moorings.

Boating customers can now access these moorings as normal.

We now have quotes for the work and equipment required to make the pontoon safe again

A crane boat is still required on site to carry out the repairs but, due to the prioritisation of other essential works taking place on the network, we do not yet have a time scale as to when the crane boat will be on site.

Due to recent flooding, the Northern side of the pontoon on Dunham visitor moorings is currently stuck up out of the water and is not safe to use.

Due to recent flooding, the Northern side of the pontoon on Dunham visitor moorings is currently stuck up out of the water and is not safe to use.

Now that the water levels have come back down, we have been able to assess the situation and the damage is extensive.

A crane boat is required on site to carry out the repairs but, due to other essential works taking place on the network, we do not yet have a time scale as to when the crane boat will be on site.

We will update this notice by the 16th February or as soon as we have further information

Description

Due to recent flooding, the Northern side of the pontoon on Dunham visitor moorings is currently stuck up out of the water and is not safe for our customers to use.

Once the water levels come back down, our local team will be able to assess the situation and plan in the required repairs.

We will update this notice by the 19th January or as soon as we have further information.
