Tyrley Wharf Winding Hole, Tyrley, Shropshire Union Canal

Description

The winding hole at Tyrley Wharf, which is a private mooring site not belonging to the Trust, is no longer available for public use. Please do not attempt to wind at this location, which we are removing from our maps.

Alternative winding holes are available to the north at Market Drayton (south of Bridge 64) or south at Goldstone Wharf (north of Bridge 55). Goldstone Wharf can be reached from Tyrley without passing through any locks.
