We would like to inform you of our decision to close the towpath at Upper Lode Lock to help us facilitate the essential repair works to the balance beams.
The towpath will be closed from the 18th September 2023 through to the 17th November 2023 when we anticipate the works finishing.
The works have been timed to strike the balance between avoiding the summer months as far as possible but needing to get work done on the River Severn before the periods of typically higher river flows which would flood out our sites.
