We are pleased to advise the tree obstructing the navigation has been removed and the canal is now open between Bridges 64 and 65 on the Macclesfield Canal.
Please be advised due to unforeseen circumstances there has been a delay in our contractors attending the fallen tree between Bridges 64 and 65 on the Macclesfield Canal.
We now anticipate their attendance Monday 20 March.
A further update will be provided Monday 20 March.
Please be advised the navigation is closed between Bridge 64 & Bridge 65 on Macclesfield Canal due to a windblown tree.
Contractors have been informed to remove the obstruction.
An update will be provided Friday 17 March.
