Nottinghamshire City Council has informed us that their planned bridge inspections have been put on hold. We do not currently have a new timescale from them but, as soon as we have more information, we will update the website accordingly.

AMEY working on behalf of Nottingham City Council, will be carrying out a Bridge inspection at Trent Street Canal Bridge 5, on the 14th March.
The inspections will either be undertaken from a small pontoon with aluminium scaffold tower, or from an inflatable rib type vessel.
The navigation will remain open, but boaters may experience delays of up to 30 minutes, to allow contractors to move their pontoon out of the way.
Please proceed with caution, while travelling in single file and follow any advice given on site.
The contactors will be providing a towpath banksman to safely manage the passage of towpath users, while this work is taking place.
