The Environment Agency has completed their essential maintenance works to Meadow Lane Flood Gates and are no longer restricting passage on the navigation.  Boaters can proceed as normal. 

Description

The Environment Agency will be carrying out essential maintenance works to their Meadow Lane flood gates on the 24th of February. The works should take no longer then a couple of hours on this day and there will be minimal disruption to boat traffic on our navigation.

However, because they are currently unable to provide us with their start and end times, please plan your journey on the basis that the Environment Agency will be on site for the day and allow additional time to pass.

We will update this notice once we are informed that the work is complete.

Please proceed with care and follow any advice given on site.
