SALTHOUSE DOCK, LIVERPOOL CANAL LINK
The Liverpool Canal Link is a seasonal passage, open from the last week in March until October, annually. The Liverpool Canal Link provides a navigable route from the bottom of the existing Stanley Lock Flight on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to Liverpool's South Docks, including our visitor mooring, Salthouse Dock.
Passage via the Liverpool Canal Link is available daily, excluding Tuesdays. Mooring charges will be calculated at time of booking.
You can book your passage and pontoon via your online account or calling 0303 040 4040. Choose your dates of your return passage via the Liverpool Canal Link and pick your preferred pontoon in Salthouse Dock. Please note, pontoons are available on a first come, first served basis.
Customer's must have a valid licence and insurance, ensuring your craft complies with BSS regulations.

Stanley Lock Flight, Prince's Lock and Mann Island Lock are all customer operated with roving lock keepers and volunteers available for guidance. Operating times are as follows, Wednesday to Monday:
Outbound passages (going from Salthouse Dock to the Leeds & Liverpool Canal)
Opening times for outbound passages are 8am to 9:30am from Mann Island
Inbound passages (from the Leeds & Liverpool Canal into Salthouse Dock)
Opening times for inbound passages are from 1pm to 2.30pm from Stanley Top Lock. Boats can travel on the Link up until 4pm, once clear of the flight.
The Liverpool Canal Link will be padlocked outside these hours.
Use of Bridge 9, Handcock's Swing Bridge is restricted during peak traffic times. Open for customer operation from 9:30am to 2pm and 6pm to 7:30am, daily. Installation of the landing stages at Bridge 6, Netherton Swing Bridge has enabled customer operation, with no assistance required.
We have a 28 day no return policy on the bookings. The booking system will not allow bookings within this period to be taken.
