Description
Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 1B on the Peak Forest Canal to carry out repairs to railway bridge via temporary pontoon and scaffold.
To be able to maintain a safe working environment, the towpath will be closed during these works, a diversion route will be in place.
Whilst navigation will remain open, customers may be asked to wait no longer than 20 minutes to allow the third-party contractors make way for a safe passage.
We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors on site.
