The navigation between locks 29 and 30 is now open.
Please be advised that long established water supplies from adjoing watercoures such as Hanwell Brook and the River Cherwell have significantly reduced flow at this time
Please follow the Thrift Code and help to conserve water
Description
Due to very low water levels impacting navigation between lock 29 and lock 30 this is now closed.
The low levels are due to an act of vandalism earlier in the week
The ongoing dry weather means that we are having to replace the lost water cautiously from reservoir sources some distance away from this location. As such this may take some time. We apologise for any inconvenience.
We are monitoring the situation closely and will re-open as soon as we are able.
