Description
Contractors working on behalf of Highways England will be carrying out a selection of surveys for bats on the land on the approaches to Nether Lock and Weir. These surveys will be completed on foot, with some hand-held equipment.
It should be noted that for some surveys the operatives are specifically required to not wear Hi-Viz clothing to minimise the potential for wildlife surveys.
These surveys are likely to commence at dusk and continue for several hours into the night using torchlight. The operatives have been supplied with a permit to evidence their consent to carry out the works.
