Lock 25 East - padlocked. Assisted passage given

Huddersfield Narrow Canal is currently closed until 17th March 2023.

We will monitor the situation at Lock 25 east on the reopening and issue a notice should these restrictions need to be put back in place.

Description

Due to vandalism which had drained the pound over the weekend, Lock 25 East will be locked and assisted passage will be given.

Please phone the Customer Service Team on 03030 404040 for passage.

The team will attend as soon as they are able to, delays may be experienced whilst operatives finish off other duties along the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.

We will continue to monitor Lock 25 East and the padlock will be in place for a long as we feel it is needed.
