We apologies for the lateness of this update. We need to advise our customers that this stoppage will be extended by one week. The stoppage will now end on 17/02/2023. This is due to issues with water levels within the lock preventing access and unknown voids behind the lock walls taking longer to fill. We apologise for the inconvenience.
A stoppage is required to carry out some repair works. Resin grouting will be put behind the lock walls to fill up any voids and prevent deterioration of the lock structure.
