We apologise to our customers for the late information on the proposed grouting works at Lock 5W, please note this change does not impact navigation due to the other planned works at Lock 5w.
Our contractors were delayed in reaching site until last week and unfortunately due to the lock gate works being undertaken by our own Direct Services Team, our contractors have been unable to commence the planned grouting works as these works required the lock to be in water.
The grouting will be deferred and reprogrammed for a revised date to be confirmed.
