We would like to advise that the end point on this stoppage needs to be changed from Lock 43 to Lock 57. This is to help minimise the amount of water going down the flight whilst the planned work is carried out. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
A stoppage is required to carry out the following: Lock 24, replace the top & bottom gates. We will also be carrying out repair works to the lock ladders, chamber brickwork and lock side. Lock 38, replacement of the top gate. We will also be carrying out repairs to the chamber brickwork and fender. Lock 43, replace the top gate.
