We are sorry to advise that this stoppage is being removed from the winter works programme. We have to constantly review our priorities and as more urgent works have been introduced into the winter works programme, this project has been re-prioritised.
We will be rescheduling these works into a future winter programme.
Again, we are sorry for this change and we hope that this doesn't cause any inconvenience to our boating customers.

Some essential repair works have needed to be carried out at our Bradley Workshop. This caused a 6 week delay in gate production which means that 6 lock gate leaves have been deferred for a future year.
This has opened a window of opportunity. The Construction Manager and their team have reviewed the West Midlands program and have decided to schedule this stoppage after Christmas which will mean that the navigation is no longer blocked before Christmas. We hope that this change doesn't cause you any inconvenience.
